Year of the Goat is the eighth release in the Perth Mint's Lunar Series III. Wade Robinson's reverse places a goat on an open mountain plain beside a solitary tree, with the Chinese character for goat, 'GOAT 2027' and the P mintmark; Dan Thorne's King Charles III is on the obverse. This 1 oz coin is 99.99% gold, Australian legal tender, and comes sealed in an acrylic capsule. Mintage is limited to 30,000 and the reverse includes a micro-engraved security letter.
